Promiseland is our Sunday morning ministry to preschoolers aged three through kindergarten. It is our mission to teach these young ones about God's love and care by providing a safe and caring environment where they learn and discover exciting, biblical principles the way they learn best: through play and sensory exploration.
Registration
When you first visit Valley Assembly you will be asked to fill out a Care Card at the Welcome Center. Welcome Center staff will assist you in finding the class that is best suited for your child's age. Your child will be given a color-coded nametag that we would like him/her to wear. This not only allows our caregivers to use your child's name when addressing him/her, but also enables us to identify at a glance the room your child belongs in.
All of our rooms are color-coded and can easily be found by looking for the corresponding colored banners in the hallway.
At the time of registration, you will be issued a call number which allows us to reach you during the service should your child need you.
Promiseland classes are at 9:15 and 10:45. The 9:15 session is an age-appropriate Sunday School class with a Bible story, exciting activities to reinforce the life lesson, and a take-home project.
At 10:45, children will have the same lesson taught with different, creative activities to help make the life principle become real to them. This allows you the freedom to leave your child for two hours if you wish to partake in a small group as well as a church service.
